What could be done to avoid a hot civil war

@What could be done to avoid a hot civil war@

Our next President -whoever he might be – cannot bring the social coherence and peace to the nation: our nation is irreparably split into two hostile parts – one dreaming of near-communist big government delivering happiness from the “above” and the other cherishing their individual freedoms secured by a small non-intrusive government.

And that is a prescription for a hot civil war.

What could be tried to avoid a hot civil war?

It might be described in one sentence – to get rid of the role of the federal government in fixing all alleged social ills such as economic inequality, racism, sexism, abortion, poverty, homelessness, poor education, etc.

Each state will do all that on their own differently in accordance with the will of the state’s majority population.

California for example may decide to complete creating of a near-communist social system while Texas may strengthen individual rights and responsibilities.

Those from Texas who like living by orders of the big government may move to California while those from California who suffer from government’s dictatorship may move to Texas.

The Californians would become more equal but poorer and more complaining while the Texans would become less equal but richer and happier.

And all USA States would design their own unique way to “happiness.”

The relocation of duties from the federal government to the State governments would lead to reduction of the taxation power of the Federal government and increasing the taxation power of the State governments.

No doubt that the concept of shifting the power from the Federal government to the State governments will benefit ‘We the People” since such shift strengthens individual freedoms.

However, all Biggies – the Big Government, the Big News Media, the Big Business – will resist it since they will lose power and therefore money.
