Yes, our own government is responsible for ever-increasing murder sprees: more government power brings more violence.
Every day we read something like this:

And every day our government and news media allied with the government are trying to convince us that the guns in citizens’ possession are responsible for the ever-increasing murder sprees:

However, the guns are in the hands of citizens in UK, Italy, Israel, and there are no murder sprees there.
Why? If we learn it, we understand why our own government is responsible for ever-increasing murder sprees in America.
All three nations –UK, Italy, and Israel – are truly religious nations. Although not all people there are attending churches or synagogues, and some consider themselves atheists, they are truly religious in terms of Judeo-Christian morality.
In these nations, Judeo-Christian morality is the foundation of home, private and public education, and the guidance in politics and social life.
At the core of Judeo-Christian morality is the upmost value of human life: it is more precious than money and power. The Church of England, Rome’s Vatican and Israel’s Chief Rabbinate are guardians of this morality in their nations, and democratically elected governments in these nations respect the national Judeo-Christian morality in their legislative work.
Such governing was in America at the beginning, but – in the absence of unified national authority on Judeo-Christian morality – step-by-step everything has been changed drastically.
The American government has become the morality’s authority, and in its morality the value of money and power has become superior over the value of human life.
And thrust for money and power has led to murder sprees.
The murder spree results from government actions on splitting the unified in-the-past nation into numerous hostile groups demanding more money and power from the government.
The American Government legislates the shifting of money and power to the Blacks from the Whites that makes many among the Blacks believe the money and power could be gain through the intimidation by violent actions, not by own creative work.
The American Government legislates the shifting of money and power for many other communities such as:
From citizens of traditional values to LGBTQ,
From religious to non-religious,
From people to ‘climate’,
From employers to employees
From parents to adolescents,
From police to criminals,
From community’s judgment to judges’ rules,
Etc.
The government’s power and wealth are being amassed while the people’s unhappiness is growing that brings violence.
All that is being done under the cover of false theories and ideas such as replacement theory, critical race theory, environmental justice, reparations, economic equality, racism, etc.
The almighty government creates hate, and then creates laws to fight hate, and all that brings more money and power to the government elites and more hate to the nation.
Is it possible to fix all that?
Yes, it is possible but not by empowering the already almighty government more as we are doing now.
It is possible by sharply decreasing government’s money and power and returning the money and power to us the people.

We may begin with electing to US House of Representatives and US Senat those who clearly understand the dangers of the almighty government.
